Parties are a great way to share your passion for fitness
and living a healthy lifestyle. They are also very effective
tools to use to share the tremendous opportunities that
Team Beachbody has to offer. From simply meeting with a
few friends to sharing how Team Beachbody has impacted your life to
planning a creatively-themed workout party where you pop in
an Team Beachbody workout, serve Team Beachbody supplement samples, and talk about
the business, consider using Home Fitness Parties to expand
and grow your business.
The
Impact of Home Fitness Parties
Over the past four months Tammie and I have been hosting
Team Beachbody
Home Fitness Parties. We initially set out to simply provide
an opportunity for our Coaches to invite their friends to
hear about Team Beachbody and all it has to offer. Over time we have
found that it has met several needs along the way:
- It's a great way for
new Coaches to come and learn more about Team Beachbody and
surround themselves with other Coaches to learn from.
- It's a comfortable
environment for Coaches to invite any of their friends
who are considering purchasing Team Beachbody products or learning
about the business opportunity.
- It's a tremendous
training environment to teach Coaches how to share Team
Beachbody
one-on-one or in a larger group environment (getting
their feet wet as they share the opportunity together
with those that they bring to the meeting).
- We have taken
advantage of the time following the meeting to further
train new and experienced Coaches in various aspects of
the business.
- It has been so fun to
see a team of local Coaches grow together in knowing
each other and rallying around each other in the pursuit
of achieving their health and fitness goals, and, in
developing their Team Beachbody businesses. We are not just a team
now, but also a family.
Our
Party Format
Set-up: The format of our parties is very basic and
simple, so that any one of our Coaches can take it,
personalize it, and feel comfortable enough to do it on
their own. We arrange our living room so that it has a very
comfortable and informal feel. We set our chairs up in a
circle, display the complete Team Beachbody Showcase Pack, other
workout videos, and several of the Team Beachbody supplements on the
dining room table, have one of the workout videos playing in
the background, and serve refreshments to loosen the mood as
people mingle and get to know each other before we begin.
Opening: We always
try to start the meeting on time by welcoming our Coaches
and guests and then introducing ourselves as the hosts. A
handout is given that has the agenda, dates about future
events, and a place to write questions and notes. We go
around the room and have everyone share their name and what
they would like to improve upon with their health. This
immediately makes what you are about to share in regards to
Team Beachbody personal to everyone there.
Core
Presentation: We then share that Team Beachbody has the vision,
products, and support system in place to help them with
their health goals. Immediately we play Carl Daikeler's
"vision" message video that comes in the Team
Beachbody Coach Kit. And
we follow it by sharing our personal stories about how Team
Beachbody
has changed our lives through the success we have had with
Team Beachbody products and the fun we have had through the
relationships we have developed that have supported us in
our health and fitness journey.
At this time we begin
sharing the four basic areas of opportunities that Team
Beachbody
offers: Fitness (fitness products), Fuel (supplement
products), Fun (Team Beachbody Game, WOWY, Team Beachbody Club, Transformation
Contest), and Freedom (business opportunity). During each
section we give a brief overview of each area along with the
benefits. We make it fun by making it interactive and asking
questions like:
- How many of you have
seen one of our products on an infomercial or have one
at home? If so, which one?
- Do we get all of the
vitamins we need in our daily diets? Why or why not?
- Who here wants to win
some cash?
- What would be the
first thing you would do if money was not an issue and
you could do anything you wanted?
- We also have someone
share during each section how Team Beachbody and its products have
impacted their lives personally in one of the areas.
Closing:
To close the party we share that Team Beachbody would love to help
you meet your health and fitness goals. If you are
interested in any of our fitness and/or supplement products,
playing the free game, joining the Team Beachbody Club, or starting
your own business by becoming a Coach, please talk to the
person that brought you.
Then we close the meeting,
allowing people to browse through the products and leave. We
also let them know that they are more than welcome to stay
and ask any questions that they have from the presentation.
We find that everyone usually sticks around for 15-30
minutes asking questions and talking about a variety of
things.
Impact On Business Growth
These parties have impacted our team's business growth in
several ways:
- It provides a great
opportunity to share Team Beachbody with friends and family in a
comfortable, fun, and non-threatening atmosphere.
- It is a tremendous
training ground for new and experienced coaches.
- As we share about the
workouts and supplements we find that Coaches and others
will order products shortly after the meetings or the
next day.
- It has produced many
new Coach sign-ups.
- They create an
atmosphere where Coaches work together towards their
common goals.
- Presentation &
business tools, meeting & event ideas, and other
creative ways to grow our Team Beachbody businesses have come about
by simply sharing ideas with each other.
- It has also gotten
several Coaches on the sideline back into the game and
active in building their business knowing that they have
help and support to achieve their goals.

Dos
- Pick a regular time
that is convenient for your team and allow them to
grow over time.
-
Email your Coaches about the party and personally
invite your guests at least a week beforehand.
- Ask
a couple of your Coaches to share a very brief
testimony about one of the Team Beachbody products they have
had success with.
-
Challenge each person to live a healthy lifestyle
and to sign-up for the Free Game.
- Have
several Team Beachbody workout videos, equipment, and
supplements on display.
- Have
the product catalog available.
- Have
a computer available to help people see the Web site
and make it real to them, sign them up as a Coach,
purchase products on, and train other Coaches on.
-
Share your story. It is the most powerful tool you
have available to you in sharing Team Beachbody.
-
Encourage your personally sponsored Coaches to have
their own parties and be willing to help them
initially to get them off of the ground.
- Be
creative in the way you conduct your parties, their
themes, and how you format them. Think outside of
the box.
- Call
those attending, even your Coaches, to action at the
end of the meeting. Invite them to get involved with
one or more areas of Team Beachbody (buy videos/supplements,
sign up for the free Game, join the Club, or become
a Coach).
Don'ts
-
Don't make it too long. 45 – 60 minutes is a good
time frame. Any longer and it can have a negative
effect.
-
Don't ramble on or go down a rabbit trail during the
meeting.
-
Don't get defensive if someone asks a question that
might be negative. Simply state that it sounds like
they have had a negative experience in what they are
asking about and ask them if they are willing to
share. Then share with them the positive aspects of
Team Beachbody.
-
Don't open it up for questions during the party
time. Share at the beginning that you will give them
time to ask questions once you are finished with the
party and to write their questions down as they
think of them.
-
Don't try to answer a question you do not know the
answer to. If you don't know the answer, simply say
that and ask if anyone else might know the answer.
If not, tell them that you would be happy to find
the answer and get back to them.
-
Don't allow someone or a discussion during the party
to dominate the time.
-
Don't be disappointed if only one person shows up.
We have had some of our best meetings when only a
few have been there because we have concentrated
time with them to share or train.
